u can understand how the trailer’s sway is created and how it’s managed. Let’s find out more!

There are two types of systems for sway-prevention and one one designed for recovery. The first is that it operates with the trailer, while second, the one that is tied to the trailer Trailer Stability Control (TSC) operates with the tow vehicle.

The TSC detects the swaying of the trailer behind it and creates a snaking movement from the tow car that can stop it. The vehicle towing it will be fitted with numerous sensors which will be able to sense any unusual movement and issue the signal to control it. The preventative motion will begin gradually, but will increase according to the need. Tow vehicles will instantly slow down. This electronic system is better than any driver could ever hope to be.

While the control technique is the same, the sensors are installed on the trailer. This type controls work similar to the first type of control. Sensors can detect movement, and begin to work to control it.

You can check the rest of the video for further details on electronic control of trailer sway.
