Since the release of Apple’s iPad last month, the tech world has been buzzing. Many people wonder if this new gadget is worth buying.
So lets go over specifics, the iPad is a touch screen tablet that allows one to do pretty much do anything (i.e. surf the internet, watch movies, check email etc) . But to be totally honest, I would never buy this! Well, let me rephrase, I wouldn’t buy it now. Why? It’s pretty simple, anyone in their right mind knows that you shouldn’t buy anything that’s labeled “first generation.” You’ll be setting yourself up for a lot of glitches and you’ll realize that the 2.0 version couldn’t come out fast enough.
But that’s besides the point, the main reason why I would probably never buy the iPad is because I could just go out and buy a computer for the same amount of money. For 800 bucks I could buy a brand new computer with most of the same features and feel a lot better about my purchase in the long run. As far as the design world is concerned, HP already had a touch screen computer under its belt. So I guess Apple is just catching up…
