“Call me on Facebook”

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

This is what Facebook wants the world to say.   DCGraphics applauds Facebook for keeping innovation apart of its vision.  One of the expected Social Media trends for 2012 is using social networking as a form of customer service.  So, the new features are sure to add the extra pizzazz to the B2B and B2C interaction.  The new features enhance conversation by allowing calls and group chat right on the facebook screen.  For calling, or video chatting, there will be a clickable image at the top of the chat window.  Group chat is available now by clicking the wheel on the top right of the chat window.  Facebook is evolving, and DCGRaphics is glad to be apart of the evolution.

Haute.lanta Fashion Week

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

DCGraphics is expecting to garner substantial exposure during Haute.lanta Fashion Week. For over two years, we have been providing web design and development services to Haute.lanta Fashion Week.
The Haute.lanta Fashion Week website was originally designed by its CEO, Layla K., but she called on us to develop and maintain it. We managed and structured the large amount of image and video content that the site needed, while staying true to Layla K.’s original design template. The website’s features include casting information for models, online ticket sales, blogs, and tracking tools, all of which were custom-developed. It was featured in David E. Carter’s Big Book of Layouts, a highly regarded reference for graphic designers.

Haute.lanta Fashion Week, which is in its fourth year, runs from September 15-19, and is considered the Official Fashion Week of the city of Atlanta. This year’s event will feature runway shows, complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, trunk shows, celebrity gifting suites, live mannequin and accessory exhibits, pop-up “beautique” lounges, premium live entertainment, and celebrity appearances.

Visit hautelantafashionweek.com for more information on the festivities.

Make Your Own App…

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

Don’t you hate buying expensive apps for your phone? Or wishing that you could make your own personalized app? Well the great people at Google have created a new Google Labs project designed to let anyone  create apps. The project is called App Inventor. Unfortunately, App Inventor is only for Android Phones. This could potentially boost the sales of Android phones. Looks like Team iPhone and Team BlackBerry have a lot to worry about…
